How long does it take?
Most items take about 4 weeks to build. Shipping takes an
additional 1 to 4 weeks in Eastern US and 2-6 weeks in Western US.
How do I pay for my order?
We require a 50% deposit using a valid credit card for online
orders. We accept MasterCard, Visa, Discover, and American Express. If
you prefer to use a personal check, please place your order by
telephone. We will send you an email confirmation of your order upon
receipt of your deposit. The balance will be due just
prior to shipment. We will contact you when your order is ready so we
can make arrangements for the balance of payment and shipment.
After placing your order, you will receive an acknowledgement by U.S.
Postal Service. You are asked to sign the copy of the order, keep your
copy, and return the signed copy to Leather Furniture by Charles. We
will then enter the order made only for you, from our American
factory.

We are open 9 to 5 EST Monday through Friday.
How do I order?
You can order order online, or if you prefer you may order by

Will I get an email order confirmation of my online order?
Yes, you receive an automated confirmation immediately followed by
a written acknowledgement by U.S. Postal Service. You are asked to
sign the copy of the order, keep your copy, and return the signed copy
to Leather Furniture by Charles.
Do you have leather samples?
Yes, you may order up to 10 leather samples
at $5.00 per sample. There are no refunds for samples but full credit
will be applied for all sample purchases when your furniture order is
placed within 30 days and your order totals at least $500.00. The sample you select must accompany
your returned order acknowledgment so that we may match your order as
closely as possible. Please
understand, all leather is different, no two pieces are exactly the

Can I change my order after it is placed?
Since this order will be manufactured especially for you, we can
not accept any cancellations or changes to the order once the
materials required for your order are cut, and placed into production.
If your order is cancelled after the production process has begun a
re-stocking fee of $200.00 per item will be charged.
What about shipping and delivery?
Leather Furniture by Charles will prepay for the delivery of our
furniture to you, provided you can furnish us a business address for a
delivery. If you have no business or commercial address to use for us
to ship your furniture to, you could contact a freight terminal in
your area to receive your furniture and hold for your pick up.
Residential delivery is also an option but is significantly more
expensive. If you choose residential delivery the delivery charges will be determined
after your order is placed. These shipping charges will be noted on the
acknowledgement copy that you will receive, sign, and return to us.
Our carriers are professional furniture delivery people, however,
if carton damage is evident upon delivery, open the carton at that
time, in front of the delivery person. If it is determined that the
furniture is indeed damaged, refuse to take delivery, note on the bill
of lading "furniture was delivered damaged". The driver will
then return the furniture to the factory at no cost to you. We will
either, repair and return the item to you, or manufacture you a new
piece at our discretion.
Your satisfaction is our utmost desire. Your kind remarks to your
friends and neighbors are our best way of growing our company. Leather
Furniture by Charles warrants all products we sell to you to be the
high quality furniture that you expected when you made your purchase.
If you are dissatisfied in any way when you receive your Leather
Furniture by Charles, we will gladly refund your purchase price, less
freight and the restocking fee.
